TC Logo Connect runs the original LEGO® TC LOGO DOS software inside a customized build of DOSBox-X, an open-source DOS emulator. The desktop app you download is a modified DOSBox-X, so — as a derivative work — TC Logo Connect as a whole is distributed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL-2.0-or-later).

DOSBox-X

DOSBox-X is copyright © the DOSBox-X Team and the DOSBox Team, and is licensed under the GNU GPL v2 or later. Its upstream source code is available at github.com/joncampbell123/dosbox-x.

Control Lab IO has modified DOSBox-X to emulate the LEGO Dacta 9771 interface card and to bridge it to real LEGO Interface A hardware over USB.

Other open-source components

• picoflash — used by the browser-based firmware updater, under the MIT License.
• Bundled runtime libraries — the desktop app ships the libraries DOSBox-X depends on (SDL2, FFmpeg, libslirp, GLib, FluidSynth, and others); each remains under its own license.
